Meet
Gwen
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Gwen was the second of four children in a home where hard work, stewardship, and entrepreneurship were part of everyday life. Her homeschooling years allowed for rich, hands-on learning — from prepping science labs and managing co-op supplies to exploring the American Southwest and visiting family in New England. In high school, she gained invaluable business experience working alongside her father in the family’s online retail venture, where she handled everything from inventory and customer service to shipping and sales.

After graduating as valedictorian with a degree in Christian Education, Gwen returned to Dallas and worked as an estimator for a private homebuilder,
sparking a deep appreciation for the construction
industry. She later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, funding her education through a successful dog- and house-sitting business,
and graduating completely debt-free.

Her professional journey has been anything but ordinary. Gwen has worked as an estimator for a mid-size Dallas home builder, as a solar sales representative, small business owner, and as a handywoman painting homes and doing carpentry projects in upstate New York. Her reputation for excellence and initiative led to a leadership role as the office manager at a reputable contractor. There, she transformed operations by introducing streamlined systems, negotiating vendor costs, and leading the company to a 19% increase in annual revenue, six-figure cost savings, and significant debt reduction — all within a single year.
This experience became the foundation of her first book, From Chaos to Cash Flow, a candid story with practical tips for business owners and employees seeking to bring order and profitability back to their work.

Today, Gwen is a Financial Coach, helping individuals and families eliminate debt, build strong budgets, and plan for a financially free future. She also consults with small businesses to establish smart financial systems, reduce waste, and improve operations from the inside out.
When she’s not coaching or writing, Gwen enjoys playing pickleball, volunteering at her church, and spending quality time with her family — especially her beloved nieces and nephews.

"Peace washed over me. I felt as though God Himself had positioned me in this role, and I was thoroughly enjoying it. Is this what it feels like to have purpose in work? Not just warming a seat to pay the bills, but actually enjoying the work so much it feels like divine destiny? I had become so confident and comfortable in my role that when new challenges arose, panic and fear had been replaced by calm and courage. I didn’t need to fight my way through it. I just did my best work and trusted God for the outcome. It was a dream come true."
